She blessed the world with her graceful elegance July 31st. Her name is Janika Lee Reyes. Shes a Latina Born and raised in the City streets of East Harlem. She is blessed to have two wonderful Father's, a beautiful and an intelligent mother, and a loveable older sister. All who are supportive with anything she does. However, when the world seemed to go against her; she  dug her head into books to take her away from the world. At age 9 she wrote her first poem "Feelings."  Her sister was her biggest fan. All her teachers praised her for her writing, and all her Enliglish teachers to this very day still use her writings as an example of what an essay, memoir, short-story & ect.. should resemble, and she's humbled. She loves to laugh, she loves to love; She lives her life to the fullest extent and has no boundaries, the skies the limit. She's a Feminist, Anthropologist, Freelance Photographer, Writer, Poet,  Daughter, Lover, Friend and an Aunt. Her life is dedicated to helping and inspiring those who havent realized their full potential. When she inspires; she is inspired.

She has so many goals and aspirations for herself & young men and women alike; the future generations to come. She asks that people read her work with an open mind; so they can leave her page with some Enlightenment or Idea of broadening one's horizions. "Those who never failed; never tried." Although she doesn't remember who or where she heard that from, she's followed that motto for quite sometime now. She encourages her readers to never give up, to never lose sight of their goal. No one and nothing can bring you down but you.  "& When no one believes in you; lest it be who you are or what you are hoping to accomplish, believe in yourself--fight for yourself, people will soon be inspired by your courage and your strength. Make them wish they were you. I encourage everyone to do the thing in which they think they cannot do. Its that simple. Be Blessed."
